celebrated dear's bday over the weekend.

dear booked the M hotel for a nite. had the buffet dinner there too.
room is big & comfy!

food is okok. not worth it for me, coz i dun take the raw stuffs which are the ex stuff. haha.

the cake i baked on fri was a failure! dunno wat happened. maybe i so pissed off and it affected the mood when making it. lucky i have some leftover from my 1st attempt of the lemon cheesecake. so instead of 1 whole cake, i brought a single slice. hahaha.

my initial plan was to bake a strawberry cake.

1st attempt - the sponge cake became kueh. really dunno why. haha

trying to mix very well and suddenly my fake eyelash dropped into the mixture! luckily i spotted it.




the strawberry kueh. haha. super ugly. sis and i cannot stop laughing



2nd attempt - look for another receipe for the sponge cake. the cake was salty instead of sweet. think it's because we use the "knife" oil instead of vege oil coz no vege oil at home.


3rd attempt - went to look for easier receipe. tried out the raspberry cheesecake. looked so beautiful, forgot to take a pic. but it was tasteless. even my younger sis doesn't wan to eat it. FYI, my youngest sis is a rubbish bin. she eats everything. she even said that the salty cake taste ok. hahaha.


4th attempt - the baked lemon cheesecake. finally it is edible and it tastes perfect! hahaha.
